well i got my ic-7200 working on reading its band and freq and mode in dx4win
ver 8.05. when i open the psk window, it come up, but does not show any sig's
and if i hit transmit, it shows its red, but not keying the radio. when i open

to transmit PSK. DX4WIN interfaces nicely with the KX3 using COM 2 with
Windows 7 and works properly to control the KX3 when clicking on DX spots

How have you connected the computer to the K3?
The normal way to utilize the K3 is to use DATA A for PSK 31 with sound
card connected to the LINE IN jack and K3 set for LINE IN instead of
microphone. See your K3 Owners Manual for more information.

You can have this problem if you are unplugging USB sound devices... at
least I do with XP. If I connect or disconnect a sound device, the card
numbers change. I have to remember to disconnect my video cam before

The buit-in soundcard has many input and outputs. The external USB one has
also some in and outs. Vista threats them as several INs and OUTs.
Unfortunately DX4WIN is not treating them individually.
