Strange operation here... AGC-S seems to work as it should and AGC-F as
expected but if I turn AGC off my rig does silent. I'm still able to
see the S-meter swinging to the signal that I was listening to.
Current settings are as follows:

AGC Hold = 0.00
AGC Pulse = Normal

than 2.0 SWR. Accounting for wear and tear over time I thought it might have

a couple of seconds, now it doesn't touch them.

Now the only way is to turn PWR pot abt 4 whole rounds.
This slowly tears the precious and expensive potmeter.
Lower power is often needed for amplifier or QRP.
Full 100W for barefoot.
Toggle might be PF1 and PF2.
If you have a computer connected, you can also set power with the PC
command. I realize not everyone has or wants a computer connected at
all times, but it is another way.
I think it is a rotary shaft encoder, not a potentiometer.

I had a short introduction to the P3 today from Wayne and Alan (N1AL) at the
Santa Barbara ham fest.
Wayne warned us that the P3 was an engineering prototype; I was expecting
something less finished and with less functionality than what I found.
It looked real nice sitting next to the K3.

- the P3 can go left or right of the K3
- the screen refresh rate will be selectable; the prototype was
running at about six times/second, but we hope to increase that to 20/
sec
- there are eight programmable switch

Such that it may be used as a larger output for RTTY/CW/PSK decoded
information. This way one can not only see more text but also use
