I did not notice an ALC provision on the back of the K-3 JPG. Do the
Elecraft's only have ALC control by varying the Power Control???
Thanks, Jim

you can see your reflection in the surface.
I might consider beveling the edges on the base and the arms for a more
refined look.

Right now the only rig manufacturer that I am aware will let you transfer a
warranty from one owner to another during the warranty period is Flex?
Naturally at a price, $50.

negative on the high end you can tend to use loose some signal clarity and
get a little muddy.

A couple days ago when I downloaded the newer version and was in the TX EQ
section I noticed my K3 readout frequency was changing. After rebooting the
computer all has appeared ok.

Yaesu did have an FT-3000 under glass on the same side where the hats are given
out. The scope appeared more real time (faster) verses the 5000 and 9000. Nice
looking rig. Hopefully it will perform well. Single receiver.

Gary, the cheaper 6700 is the 6700R = RECEIVER ONLY. The one for $6999 is
the 6700 transceiver.

Bill N2BC and he said he has run the program on W7/64 for ages
and suggested I install the latest which is 2.0.0.8 .We started with
this one from the beginning?
All other Ham programs that I have reinstalled on Windows 7 64 bit appear to
run fine with no issues observed.

Thanks for the suggestion of going back to 2.0.0.5. See there are a few with
the same issues. Stable and the TX/RX EQ works fine. Only little blip
doesn't recognize the higher AGC settings (THR) in the current 4.51 Beta.
Will stay with 2.0.0.5 for now.

Olli, same here, no issues. Save K3 Configuration worked fine this morning.

I was thinking the same thing. I never go above 15 CMP. Mic is set to 30 and I
easily get 100 watts PEP.
I would think a CMP set to 30 the receiving station could hear spiders crawling
in your room.

Stable is an appropriate word. With other manufacturers' equipment that I've
had, there would still be complaints about unresolved problems. ;-)
