Andy,
Thanks for the help. Line 1068 is for metric. I was able to go from there and
found inch. I have not touched the lathe for a few month so I am kinda having
to go around and re adjust to where things are again.
Thanks again.

Can someone point me to where I can find how to change the machine units
resolution in axis? As the default for inch is 0. I would like to go
out to 0.0. What would I need to change to change the displayed
resolution?

Robert,
Thanks that was exactly what I was looking for. How do you handle the tool
changers? I am using classicladder and it seems to work well. The turret
in the video looks similar to the W axis on my Hitachi Seiki Lathe.

does axis handle the W axis graphically?

That will work just

With some research tonight I have found out a little bit more info on VFDs.
Most of the manufacturers stop listing single phase as a source for more
than 3 horsepower because mostly motors larger than this have three phase
power. The drives that specify single phase as a power source have larger

Ted,
What kind of motor did you go with and what model of vfd do you use? Also I
have not yet purchased a drive yet I am weighing my options. I am thinking of
5-7.5 hp. With the price some of the vfds are going for I would pay several
times over what I paid for the lathe.
