Yes. Go get a tetanus shot if you haven't had one in the last ten years. It's just a safety precaution, but my Doc fussed at me recently for not doing it after I got bit. Be careful about giving him too much info about the cat. Tell him it was a friend's cat. Sometimes the Docs will say

Oh, the red and swollen and pain is normal. When I got bit a couple months ago I didn't think it was that bad at first. But then it hurt like hell for a few days. Don't panic about it but I'd still go to the doc on Monday. sent from my ATT Smartphone by HTC - Reply message - From:

This is the first bite I have had that concerned me...most have been nips with broken skin but nothing deep. However, I wash them to death and keep a very close eye on them. It is part of the feral world. However, anything on a thin skin area, hands, face, feet, gets special attention.

That's what I have always been told.  Let a bite wound bleed freely for as long as possible to wash out the bacteria.  Bacteria from a FeLV kitty is no different than from any other cat.  They all can lead to a bad infection.  Let it bleed, wash with soap and hot water, rinse with hydrogen
