We lost our Sweet roly poly Rouncey today. He was a Sids kid for 2 years and
had such a great purrsonality. When I met him for the first time and he looked
at me and brought tears to my eyes(we had just lost Demetri,one of my special

that Aberdeen threw a blood clot and had to be let go. This guy was a very
grumpy boy when he first came to us,but we turned him into a big loverboy...not

Another hard hit for us at Sids yesterday.
Princess Jellee came to us back in May after losing her home due to her dad
remarrying and moving in with un cat friendly dogs,this after losing her human
mom 5 years ago. The second I saw this beautiful ladys face I fell in love with
her and my heart
This sweet little angel won MANY hearts over.She was only kitten size but had a
lion size heart and feistiness about her.She was adopted over a year or so ago
but lost her battle with this awful disease this Friday.She had a wonderful
home and we are happy she got that experience.

Well this Sids kid won my heart the instant he walked up to me with his raggedy
and I mean raggedy self and head butted right into my heart.He looked like he

Here is the e-mail dr. Jen sent to us this evening...
On 8-13-03, I took in a tiny wounded kitten that I named Knuckles. His forepaw
was deformed and mangled, and another shelter called to ask if we could help,
or he would have to be destroyed.
So we took the little guy in, amputated the leg,
We lost our sweet three legged Mo(missing one) tonight.he was quite a
character.I used to get a laugh when he would swat at the other Sids kids with
his phantom leg and THEY would actually duck like he was going to hit them.He
also would scratch at your foot to get your attention.He also would
hugs to you Sharyl in this sad time.All those wonderful kittens had a wonderful
mom. :)
