Hannah had this problem but never got it to resolve. Shame that really as I
could get it working fine. We were both using Vista.

hi Che,
Yeah, from the description you have given the Wii controllers sound like
the best way to handle a fighting game such as Blood Money. There seams
to be lots more room for motion, advanced moves, and I'm looking forward

Hi Thomas
Will you be putting Showdown on that page also, to complete the PB games

The way I am thinking right now, the right hand would be used to draw the
combination shape, such as a rainbow shape for a roundhouse kick. The left
would be used to modify the combination. So if you did a roundhouse combo
with right control, then hit down on left, it would do a foot sweep,
yup think we have to move away from keyboard only

Nope, afraid Sony has left you out in the cold on this one. People
complain a lot about Microsoft's complete dominance of the operating system

Wii-Motes myself, but I do know from listening to end user experiences
on various game forums that a game developer can program all kinds of
complex moves, special actions, that is simply impossible for a keyboard

Hi Che,
I think your suggested style of game input is a good one. As you pointed
out if you leave the user to use the keyboard alone that is just way to
easy. Plus if you do add specials, combos, etc then using a Wii-Mote,
game pad, etc is going to leave the keyboard user in the dust anyway.

Hi Orin,
Well, supporting PS3 game controllers under Windows is rather
problematic. As usual Sony does not officially support using a
PS3controller with PC games so there are no official drivers etc out
there for them, and DirectX doesn't understand the PS3 input values.
There are, however,

Also, I know you can plug an x box controller directly into the pc via USB,
but what about the wireless controllers that work with the x box 360, read

Hi |Chee,
What kind of broadband speeds are you looking at? Also, have you considered
using a mobile phone as a possible interface? I know that the vibrator in a
mobile phone is clumsy but for people who do not want to buy a specialised
game controller this may become a valid option.
Having said
The 360 wireless controller needs a special receiver.

Hi,
Not sure what you mean exactly by the broadband question. Do you mean what
minimum speeds am I looking at? The overall throughput isn't that important,
but the ping times are very much so, still getting boundaries on that.
Regarding the phone idea, I'm not sure that would work, as the
