Hi.
With some help of Cx2 of the audeasy forum, I did attempt to add a trigger
to read health, - but it just plane doesn't work.
I typed * into the trigger box, and # %0 say voiceonly into the commands
box.
I got no error messages after okaying the command, and then I pressed

Hi Dark,
Because David Greenwood has been on vacation for the past three weeks, your
VIP mud message to him is probably in a large batch of unread emails.
I just got all the keys from him from game orders during that time so I know
he is back and working.

Hi Phil.
to be honest I thought he was actually back because he did manage to get my

the necessity to use a direct transfer to his account from mine sinse there
were problems with linking to paypal from the Gma games
Hi Valiant,
I will put the option in so that you can choose between the crowd sound or the
wind sound, but personally I can not understand how it is going to make a
difference as it is the exact same thing, only a different sound. You know as
you get closer to the wall the crowd or wind
Hi Phil,
That's pretty good. A bit ironic though as I hate washing dishes. Marcie had me buy
a counter top dish washer. I love it. No more lab experiments in the sink.

Hey most of Jim's games won't pan sounds at all. When I practice batting it
says to hit the ball when it is 80 percent from left to right, but when the
ball is coming at me, it's all mono, it starts in the center, and stays that
way. Anyone know how I might fix that? I'm using a realtech.

I have up loaded a file to send space. It is me using the keyboard to run the

Hi Valiant,
May I ask, do any games or anything play in stereo for you? You may have a
setting set to mono somewhere because my games definitely pan and some play
stereo sound files. The sapi5 voices are mono though. You could even try
listening to the mp3 files that I just up loaded to
Hi.
Yes, all other games play ok in stereo, including Thomas's MOTA game, GMA Tank
Commander, Shades of Doom, etc. But I had to change settings in Shades of Doom
and GTC and LW to get them to play properly. I had to set them to use software
sound buffersinstead of hardware and that solved
Hi.
I listened to the recordings you made, and mine sounds way different than
that. My croud sound is a lot louder and I really can't hear my engine sound. I
have turned down the sounds volume quite a lot. But everything goes down with
it. I noticed that the sounds you get for when it's time
Hi.
Yeah, I tried connecting a USB headset and have still the same problem, and
that's with the USB headset being a completely different soundcard.

I have noticed Dave isn't much into answering problems about scripting and

Hi Che.
sinse that line reads fine with JAws and not with Sapi, I would actually
class it as a bug, I'm only using scripting because it won't
automatically read.
I've tried the command with what I believe to be the correct syntax in the
trigger dialogue, - as I detailed, but either

I am sorry, but I don't know what to say. I have not heard of anyone else

Will,
We hope to have at least one other title out before the end of the
year, but no promises. We're trying to lay the foundation for more

is silver dollar an arcade game? will more info onw aht this game be

Well, I figured out how to fix the issues people have been having with Pocket
Tads with the pac mate. It was pure luck--it has to do with font size--use
tahoma with the size set to 8, no fixed pitch, buffered. You'll set this up
under normal and find that there is only one space between words
In case some of you are not on the pac mate list but have pac mates or smart

free. Louis Bryant is hosting it for me and it can be found at

Odd, it works on my netbook, hardware accelleration at both 100 percent and

Have you tried setting GTC and such to hardware buffer and using the USB

Hi Dark,
That's not necessarily a bug. Comparing a screen reader to a software
speech system like Sapi isn't really a good comparison in this instance.
While text to speech systems like Sapi have there own dictionaries that
tells the synth how to say various words, numbers, and punctuation
Wierd, I had no idea jaws did that - it would actually be neat if sapi could
have an accessible dictionary for people to use. That's just me though.
So basically your saying when jfw or window eyes is installed it does some

I think it means while you're actually using the voice for your screen
reader. That might explain why with JFW voices like the Scansoft or ATT
voices wouldn't pause at the end of sentences or at commas.

Hi Tom.
While I certainly understand what you mean, afterall that's why I use
Hal with orphius and not sapi (and even if I did, I'd muck about with
pronunciation and verbosity with Hal), when I described it as a bug, i meant
that it is a flaw in the vip mud program when outputing to sapi
