Of course deleting the linked table and IPLing is also proof, but I wanted
something
more after I migrated to the parmlib member before removing the linked table as
a cleanup step.

OGL/370 is not a base z/OS component it is an old program product. I think my
client dropped it finally at z/OS 2.1.
But being that it is ancient (25 yrs old?), why wouldn't all the maintenance
come
accepted with a ServerPac order?

If LE really is doing this, why even have an ABO product. I certainly would
open
an SR with IBM LE support about it.

rounds to 1M boundaries, but wasn't there any other choice when
designing this "work around" for those shops that weren't quite ready yet?

se IBM thought "hey, this sounds like a good
idea" and
did all the development work to take a step backwards.
Big customers paying IBM big money have big voices. It may have just been one
big
customer, who knows (other than IBM).

More speculation...
Capacity Boost Processor(s)? (z15) Maybe something planned that was
eventually implemented with
the use of zIIP or making sub capacity engines full capacity for System
Recovery Boost?
