Rick I got the problem fixed.
I deleted the C:\Users\Robin\AppData\Roaming\freedom
scientific\jaws\2018\Settings\enu\internet explorer.JCF
so everything is back to normal, jaws has created a new internet explorer.JCF

I don't think it's going away just not being updated readily any more. It's
still available for download and install so at least for now it in its
