in \lyx\bin\reLyX.bat you really need to change all ~p0 to ~dp0 again,
like in the old 1.3.3 configure.bat; it might not be absolutely

You can use Ruurd Reitsma's python - no "proper" python needed for this.

Never mind. It turned out not to be the latest version of Excalibur
(4.0 not 4.0.2) and the newer version can open the file.
The Start-Lyx error was a space farther up the chain.

Reading LaTeX command syntax
(plan990.tex: Splitting Preamble
problem opening plan990.relyx1: Permission denied
Exited due to fatal Error!
In other words the relyx1 file appears to have the wrong permissions. Can anyon

I'd rather have \begin and \end in ERT and the stuff in between
translated 'normally'.

Transformed foo.tex back to .lyx (reLyX on the
bash, because "File->import->lyx" refused to do
the job, pasting failed serveral times !).

is valid.

Hi,
I've installed SUSE 6.4 on my PC and it comes with
lyx 1.1.4fix1.
I tried to import a latex-document (from Excel with
Excel2Latex) but in the Import-menue the Latex-Option is not
available.
Any suggestions what to do!

ce I think it might help other people
to know my approach in solving these types of problems.
What I did was the following:
1) Run reLyX on your file to see if I could make heads or tails of the error
message (which I couldn't).
2) Open up your file in an editor and split it in half by insert
