I was looking at the math editor and I was wondering if I could add my
own symbol sets, particularly for the IPA (using tipa). I found a file
called "symbol" but I don't know how to edit the stuff in it. Will
support for phonetic alphabets and trees like with Qtree ever be added
like with the math?

is an option to build a PDF by first going to PS and then PDF. I need
this because I use Qtree and it won't display correctly unless I go

I have two questions:
I wrote up a document and exported it to PDF. I had some TIPA encoding
there, which looked fine when I zoomed into the PDF. However, the
other text got pixely and bad. Am I using a bad font or something? How

really the correct thing to do --- with Hebrew, I find that utf8 doesn't
help, rather I need to set the encoding to cp1255, so you may have to
switch it to whatever encoding is correct for Japanese.
