I'm still getting announcements all the time about
people having "joined this channel". It's really annoying and makes
zoom basically unusable on large group calls. Does this happen for
other people?
Thanks,

I recently got a new Macbook and am a bit puzzled about what's meant

I've tried two ways:

Hello Reggie,
Clarifying what you're asking - are you saying that when your memory
stick is in your braillenote it has folders called books and lessons,
but when you put the stick in your Mac those folders aren't there and
you get a load of numbers instead?

Hi,
I wonder if it's auto-completing the URL. Mine does this and makes a
menu-type sound while it's doing it, though it doesn't say anything
about smart text.
Does it still do it if you type a URL you've never been to before?
If it is auto-complete I don't know how to switch it off.
