The car is on my ramps in the garage so I cleaned up the area and I THINK
it may be leaking from the shaft of the shutoff arm on the injection pump

no small part to the members of this list. After the caliper rebuild and
the rear hub helicoil jobs, the only thing still on the list is a

I'm almost through with the problems found during inspection of the
project 1979 240D. One of the things spotted was a rear hub lug bolt that
wouldn't torque. I checked it and sure enough the threads on the end of
the lug bolt were squashed or flattened. I ordered some new ones from

Just strolled by a black 320 CDI in the little town that I work in. I saw
the CDI and thought a second before turning back to look a second time.
Yep a new E class diesel. Was parked along the street. I'll bet few
realize it's a diesel..

I thought the rule of thumb was, if it's lower than the hood, run it over
and if it's over the hood try to avoid it. Obviously, if there's no room
