patiently bring them back to life! They skip the "cheap used car" phase of

Air bags can be had for about $300 each per corner. Valves are more. But
you don't necessarily need them to be rebuilt to have a driveable car.
I'm rebuilding my second air suspension car right now, a W112 coupe.
They're really not so bad, it's a simple system. But parts are expensive,
they add
M189 (W109 1965-67) and the M198 (gullwing) share several parts and
designs. I can confirm, at least, the water pump is the same part, for
example. I never bothered to compare much else in the EPC. but if you
examine both closely you can see many shared deigns.

the same as the auto box, so your highway gearing won't change. Unless you

You can easily bypass the fader switch... In earlier cars (which I'm
familiar with) the fader switch wiring harness has connections to the rear
speakers in the center console. If you work with the wire, you can stretch
them up to the radio. No need to run new wires to the rear. I run n

on, where it is, display messages in the instrument cluster, and respond to
button presses if it's not connected to a CAN bus?

Genuine glass is worth the money and usually not so expensive. I put a
windshield in my 300CD earlier this year and it was surprisingly cheap.
But then again, genuine everything is generally better!

The right rear jack point collapse is a real red flag here. They should
support the weight of the car no matter how they're used. If they
collapse, there is some serious rot behind the scenes.

We see all kinds of shippers here at work. My advice: it's worth the
extra money for a big name and enclosed transport. These guys are very
professional and the car doesn't get covered in crud along the way.

engine. Also if it's running and if they have a title.
After some careful research, I determined that the shifter couldn't be
original in this car. Which means possible engine swap, which kills it for

hoses. Works pretty well. I used it to make up a set for a W108 280SE,
and will probably do the same for my 250S soon.

We suddenly had low water pressure here tonight after dinner. I did some
investigation and figured out that a garden hose was left on for a few
hours outside (thanks to my 5 year old). I turned it off, but now the pump
won't build pressure... comes up to 25-30psi at the pressure tank but thats
it

The well seems to be back to normal in terms of cycling and pressure as of
this morning. Only remaining issue is a good amount of sediment has made

I can tell you that there are chineese Sandens out there that are probably
just as bad as the imported R4s, so you might not gain much.

Theres a 1971 406 for sale by me here in NJ. Its got a OM352 in it that
runs, but its really rusty. The clutch and brake hydraulics are bad, so it

reliable and stable. And, a huge advantage: Becker Autosound can service
and repair the components at a reasonable price. I think the high end
