Is there a kind of presentation or documentation on how all this works?
I am especially interested in how the flash card image is deployed?

Hello,
I think it would be great to have something like that

boards with good support.
Currently, information about RPi support is hidden in the internals of Wiki.

Hello,
Here (https://registry.opensuse.org/cgi-bin/cooverview ) I see that
opensuse/tubmleweed multiplatform docker image supports the following
platforms:
aarch64
armv6l
i586
ppc64le
x86_64
However, armv7l is missed for some reason. How could we get it back?

I think cloud-init could be helpful here to configure users and
networking. Initial configuration can be deployed to the board by
network using kernel command line options.

Hello,
I've just found that arm-trusted-firmware is missed in Factory. I wonder
what is the reason?
I am asking because arm-trusted-firmware is required to build rk3328
u-boot.itb which is a single supported upstream way to run u-boot.
u-boot.itb is currently the last piece of the large puzzle

I've just started TianoCore on EspressoBin from this repo:

It works, but it lacks almost all hardware drivers except serial console
one. So, I cannot run something useful.

Hi,
initrd.vmx is almost 100MB big in
JeOS-espressobin.aarch64-2018.03.07-Build3.4 (and other images). It is
almost 1GB when uncompressed and the image is not bootable due ot it.
There are 500 MB of /usr/lib/locale files inside initrd. Could somebody
drop them out of initrd?

I've just booted u-boot 2018 with TPL/SPL on Rock64. However, I still
need bl31.elf from arm-trusted-firmware to produce u-boot.itb

gpio_regulator has to be included into initrd to make mmc working.

Hm. It refuses to boot after KIWI deployed. For some reason
dracut-generated initrd failed to obtain /dev/mmcblk? devices.

Hi,
I am trying to run
openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-efi.armv7l-2017.10.29-Build1.7.raw
using qemu.
When I use qemu-system-aarch64 with 64-bit UEFI code
aavmf-aarch64-code.bin then the only I see is the EFI console:
UEFI Interactive Shell v2.287477C2-69C7-11D2-8E39-00A0C969723B B8F1C820
EDK
Well, I see the patch series for enabling SPL for rk3328.
Unfortunately, both my Rock64-s are in usage (with Debian ;)) and
third is broken :(
So, I cannot give it a try just now :(
