Yeah the f/0.95. Impressive piece of glass to look at. Performance was not
great but, at the time, there was nothing faster. It looked mighty good on

Brent, your ZX-M lacks the TTL flash circuitry so forget about any
TTL dedicated flashes. These, be it Pentax or third party, will
only work with the rest of the ZX series. The best you can get is
camera communicating the aperture to the flash. If your 383 already

My MZ-50 has the necessary hotshoe contact to take

Correct - but I have two Voigtländer/Cosina LTM lenses - 4.5/15 mm and 1.7/35 mm - and
the quality is impressive. Cosina also made the Ricoh KR-5 and it has a good
reputation as a simple but reliable camera.

I've got the SMCT version of this (and the earlier 500/5). AFAIK
there isn't any difference between the SMCT 500/4.5 and K500/4.5 apart from
the mount, which is detachable anyway. Both lenses are manual diaphragm.
I guess you could hand hold it, but not for very long. A nice
