Has anyone else noticed this extended bracketing feature?
It's interesting from a technical standpoint. I'm not sure if I have
a use for it, but someone probably does.
In a nutshell you can choose to bracket the white balance, sharpness,
contrast, or saturation.
The interesting part is that
I read in the latest issue of Shutterbug that there will be a Magic
Lantern Guide for the K100/110. Evidently somebody expects a bunch of
the cameras to sell. There hasn't been a Pentax Magic Lantern book
for a long time.

No data for the image is lost, and it doesn't look like any EXIF is
lost. I experimented with this a few days ago. I appended what I
posted then.
I found it interesting that a PEF converted to a DNG creates a much
larger file than just shooting DNG in the first place.

I know the SR's working. There's no way I can hand-hold a shot at
1/8th of a second without it.
That said, it's not magic. You still need to concentrate on good
technique and hold the camera as steady as possible.

does noticeably slow the write speed. I'm guessing it adds about 30%
to the write time.

You know, if all things technical always worked exactly the way they

As it is, the safest way to increase the reliability of your cards is
to always format them in the camera in which they will be used.
It may be superstion. But after
Sometime in early 2001 after I bought my ZX-5n. I read about the list

Joe - There's a custom setting that controls the illumination of the
top LCD. You might check that before sending it in.

The Pentax battery is rated at 1620 mAh, the Impact battery at BH is
rated at 1700 mAh and the Lenmar battery at Newegg is rated at 1500

It'll be interesting to see if anyone notices any difference in performance.
