The Philips ToUCam Pro on the other hand has high framerate, very good
light sensitivity, and works with Linux too. Unfortunately it costs
over 3000 pesos so I don't have one.

resolution, good color fidelity, with available drivers for Linux

If yes, you should issue make-kpkg --initrd kernel-image instead of
