Perhaps we have a semantics issue.
Example of what I mean. Two screenshots of same program on BBC R3. It
shows LMS has same live info as BBC Web player including "track" info.

is 06/06/2018 scrolling repeatedly across the SB3 screen. That's all I

I have the latest version of the plugin, running on LMS7.9.1 on
Joggler/SqueezeplayOS 3.0.3. I use a Squeezebox Classic for listening.
I have everything set to DASH and it all works beautifully at 320k, so
first of all a big thanks.
There is an option to choose to see programme data, and
No problems here 1.5.4.5 and the latest LMS 7.92 ... ;)

they don't want people doing what you are trying to do. And given you
don't pay the BBC licence fee the BBC are entirely within their rights
to restrict the bit rate you can receive. So don't be surprised if it
doesn't work.

Yes it is a Castbridge setting, I had the same problem originally. I
solved if by setting flac as the preferred format in the Castbridge
