I wonder if you might have a suggestion for me.
I've got LMS 7.72 running on a Mac running 10.8.2. I've installed the
extension and can play non-MP3 files. As per the instructions, I've
installed rudix and the mpg123 codec, but can't play mp3 files. Here's

on which version it is. The snow leapard one is definately i386 as this

Squeezelite doesn't play mp3 files on Mac OS X on 64-bit Macs. You might
want to check out squeezeslave instead as it works on modern macs.

I like the interface of iPeng 7, but I'm afraid that the repeated
crashes and insessant re-syncing make it impossible for me to use. If

in iOS 4.
Go to Safari and navigate to the url of the stream,
http://yoursqueezeboxserver:9000/stream/mp3 and then switch to iPeng.
Works fine for me, but there is a large buffer for the stream that you
have to contend with.

I don't have a way to test with iOS 4.1, but I could use time machine
to test earlier versions of the app. I could also downgrade SBS back to

and the performance
in iPeng when handling equal-sized playlists was an order of magnitude
or 2 faster. The machine was a bit faster and the library was a bit
smaller, but the difference was still striking.
I'm going to go back to 7.5.2...

Just wondering if there's been any progress on squashing the bug that
causes runaway battery usage on my iPhone 3GS when the phone sleeps or

at the albums of that artist, they
are sorted and displayed in the order Vol 1, 10, 11, 2, 3,...
If I select all songs, all the songs are displayed, sorted by album, in
the correct sequence 1,2,3,4...,10,11...
Not even sure if this is an ipeng thing or not...

For fun, I installed 7.5.2 on a different machine and the performance

Softsqueeze as an applet also doesn't work.
I've also tried using a different account on the machine.
I've tried it on a different computer (same OS version) and it works
fine.

I went to the sourceforge download page for softsqueeze

and followed the links to download the 3.7 installer, ran the
installer, and presto, the app that it installed works as it used to.

Just updated my iPhone 4S and was delighted to discover that, contrary
to current trends, ipeng got faster with the new version.
There's some muscle memory that I'm going to have to re-program, but
everything is otherwise as expected.
One small thing... How about a 'night time' mode when using
I recently got an Apple Watch, and would appreciate being able to add or
remove tracks from the favorites list when playing. Perhaps a heart icon
on the now playing screen that toggles favorite state?

I'm not sure when this problem started, but playing apple lossless files
no longer seems to work for me in iPeng, but flac and mp3 flies play
just fine.
I'm running the latest iOS, iPeng, and the latest nightly LMS is running
on a Mac running macOS 10.13.4.

I click on Pair, the Apple TV shows 4 numbers on screen, I type the
numbers into the field on the settings screen but nothing I click on the
settings screen seems to either save the pairing, or tell the Apple TV

Hi, Ive had most of my audio and video gear packed away in storage for
over a year, but have recently been getting it set up again.
My AppleTV was updated to tvOS 12.1, and while airplay bridge can see
it, and LMS thinks it is playing music to it, the AppleTV is not
receiving any audio.

I recently migrated my LMS instance from a 2011 Mac mini running 10.13
to a new Mac mini running 10.14.
I have a Squeezebox Radio, a Touch, as well as an Apple home pod and a
couple of Apple TVs.
Prior to the move I had been able to use Airplay Bridge to make music
happen everywhere.

Yes!!! Thank-you!!! The -static version was what was needed.
Doing a search for 'CBC' in the TuneIn app yields a ton of valid search
results. All the live radio streams as well as a lot of shows and
podcasts. You ought to be able to create a playlist or favourites of the
ones you're interested in.
It works phenomenally well on my silent and speedy M1 Air.

I updated AirPlay to 0.4.50.1, restarted, and there's still no sounds
coming out of HomePods.
Ok, I figured it out. There's an "Allow Speaker and TV Access" setting
in the Apple Home configuration where you can choose between "Anyone On
The Same Network" and "Only People Sharing This Home."
Allowing network access fixes it.

I've been happily using AirPlay to stream music to my Apple TV (thank
you). I recently acquired some HomePods, and while they show up in the
AirPlay bridge configuration screen, no sounds come out of the HomePods
when selected and music is played from LMS.

The expanded URLs that their UI offers up to copy
I guess they've changed some things since you set up your account awhile
back and when mine was set up last week.
I sent them an email asking about metadata and a couple of other things,
and they are apparently just devoting their dev resources to getting
their new iOS app done.
