Steve, You can set up *.ppc to prit only selected components, then use global select option to select particular type of components in the PCB. Print them. Select next type of components. Update ppc from PCB. Print them. ... It is worse, than what you asked for, but better than nothing. Yuriy.

What's affordable? I recently had 5 boards assembled, about 7"x12", 300 components (2400 pads), passives on both sides, fine pitch on top, a few thru hole parts (to-220, idc, etc). Total cost for 5 boards about $2500 (incl $1200 nre). I doubt if these could have been hand assembled in much less
