and got an Alesis Multimix 4 USB 4 channel. It's not actually a control
surface, but it does interface via USB, and the guy at the store did tell me

OK, so I recorded a track in PT, and for once, I must say, it went
extremely! well. The only thing is, I'm still noticing even with no dynamic
compression, not that compression has much to do with this, but, my vocals
still seem a leetle? bit muddy. They're nowhere near! as bad as they were,
you do when using it as a VST in windows with Sonar, haven't tried it
with reaper though. Some folks like meladyn but I don't even know if that
is available as an rtas plug.

I am trying to get ready and record some vocals this morning. So, I bring
up PT, and create my session. I add a mono audio track on top of the mix I
already have. I arm the track... I hear absolutely no audio
You can, but you're gonna need the RTas formatted plugin. I don't think v s
t's directly work in PT, from what I understand.
