ages to sort where it doesn't work first time. In theory, sernetting
is easy as long as it works!

A. The Q60 of course. The QL is smaller than the Q60 and the trend in
electronics is towards miniaturisation, therefore the QL must have been made
later than the Q60 because it's smaller.

I think it does (null filename length would be a deleted file or one of the old
software protection files on a level 1 filing system I think, not applicable in

Do you still have any of that work? I know there was some discussion on the
issue of rejuvenating old software etc at the Quanta AGM on sunday.

By then he'd released the DP software bundle, sold all he could before
his licenses etc ran out and quietly retired from the QL scene without
leaving trails of debt etc like some past traders had done.
Love him or hate him, he was a successful businessman.

in trying to get permission from Simon and Mark to make these bugs docs
publically available to help people write BASIC programs which avoid nasties in
given ROM versions and so work consistently interpreted on all ROM versions?)
