My new chair is not as powerful as my last. I guess its a trade off with
speed.
I was on a dirt road and pulled off to the side for a truck, got stuck.
No torque, once I did get moving, it would not turn.
While stuck, twice cars came right by me, I'm waving both arms... they

Well, got my new chair today. Pretty happy with it. Looks pretty good.
Came with headlights, blinkers, flashers, etc. Headlights might get
used. I got the speed package. Goes from 6mph up to 7.5. I’m surprised
how much that little bit really helps. How much faster it feels. Might

Quantum is a div of Pride Mobility. Quantum div, obtains parts and
components from China and assemble them in this country. This way, they can
claim that the chair was Made in the USA.

I need a new chair pretty soon. This one is falling apart. The
repair shop said it's at the point it's costing more to keep it
going. It needs motors, batteries, recline actuators. they all
still work, just not great. My insurance covers 80%, but my 20

Hmm, the Q600Z web page lists 8mph. Could 5mph be a Medicare rule, not FDA?
I know if there were things uncovered before, that I could pay the difference.
My TDX5 clocks in at 6.5mph, but was listed at 7.5mph. Never as fast as
listed though.
Thanks, Greg

If you're ever forced to use it outside in uneven terrain (sand or
gravel)
would you let me know how well it does?

Hi,
I got my new chair yesterday. It's a Quatrum Q6Edge series. I really *will*
like it. Having trouble getting the back adjusted correctly. I feel like its
trying to push me forward. My peeps can see it do so. between the wheelchair
tech and my Dave, they think a wedge under the cushion will

thank you, i'll check that one out too.
DON’T get a quantum! I just changed from a Quantum 6000z to a Permobil M300 and
love it! My Quantum kept breaking and always had weird issues but my new
Permobil M300 is leaps and bounds better.

I have had a Quickie Pulse 6 with tilt for about 2 years now. I have had no
problems with it. It is also good outdoors (within reason). Not good in
gravel.

I know where Invacare ,Sunrise Medical and Pride are located. Pride
Mobility is located in Pennsy, on the West side of the State. Golden Tech and
Mega Motion are all within 5 miles of each other in western Pennsy. 80% of
Pride's products are made in China. Pretty
time. This may not have happened
if the seating system had been from Pride. I believe pride now has their own
seating system.
