The only thing I can think of is to have the scanner send a special character
to the field, then strip it out with an eep after checking.
It would be a lot of work depending on how many fields are scanned.

It was in his sample he posted a while back. Your sample looks like it
accomplishes the same thing.
Just wondering if anybody has tried to connect again instead of exiting.

Sometimes when we run our compiled apps we get this message.

If we exit and run it again it works fine. Just annoying. It is a link on our
desktops to our compiled app on the server.
Anybody have a solution to eliminate this error?

Tracing usually shows me which one is slowing it down and that is where I look

I am hoping someday RBTI will have an online class offering on Rscope. It would
be benefitable for me. Anyone else interested? Maybe if we get enough people
interested they can have a class.

You don’t use dsnless connections? If you did there is nothing you need to do.
If not, you can change the registry on one, test it, and export the registry
keys. Then import on the other machines.

Usually in databases durations is stored as an integer if the minimum to store
is seconds. Easy to calculate anything from there.
If you need to store partial seconds then use a real.

Sounds like you need to report it.
BTW, I avoid project commands as it locks the table. I create the temp table
and insert.

This will not triggered if there's no data in the detail band.
That's all there is to it!
Feel free to reach out to me if you any questions or need a sample report to
