I love the pedals. Goes well with the copper rails and studs on the brooks
saddle.
The copper bottle gauge will match nicely. I did find some metallic copper
twine that I thought would look great on the bars instead of the plain
hemp. But that was a big fail and I promptly removed

I currently have just the rear rack installed with an Arkel Tail Rider
and I switch back and forth between a side pannier and a messenger bag
depending on my mood.
Usually I'm only carrying clothes and other odd/ends for the
3000 miles on my nifty swiftys, tread is wearing off and plenty of
little holes/scars.
Any suggestions for the best commuting tire on rough and dirty city
streets, 25 miles round trip?

After going from moustache bars to albatross bars last week, i felt
the a-bars were a bit too high (or too low if flipped). When high, i

One time i was stopped at an intersection and when i started to pedal
through, something grabbed the rear honjo fender stay enough to pull

The stem is flipped for more rise. Flipped back the other way and it's

I second the need for fenders, but I would recommend the SKS fenders
that riv sells over everything else.
I started with those, then tried honjo and berthoud metal fenders and
ended up back with the sks. They don't cover quite as much but they
cover enough and they are more
