4-5 black Greek olives, pitted
1 slice of mild cheddar cheese--1/2 thick
1 slice of mozzarelli--1/2 thick

Torta d' Alassio
Ingredients
3 egg whites
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Unsalted butter
1-1/4 cups whole hazelnuts (filberts), toasted, skins rubbed off*
8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
Ingredients:

2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cup brewed espresso or very strong coffee
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup bourbon
4 large eggs, at room temperature
I got this from another list:
For years the beef tri-tip found itself being ground into hamburger or
cut into cubes and sold as soup meat. The reason for this is that there
is only one per side of beef and in the days when butchers carved their
own meat it was considered a waste of display space
Chocolate Velvet Cake
This recipe was adapted from Neiman Marcus Taste published by

1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup
we've had discussions about that on several lists and it's great to have
other people's support who go through the same things.

Hi Marilyn,
Sorry I am just getting back to you.
Yep, I got your new e-mail address. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
It's great that you got a new computer! I guess you are getting used to it.
You and Frank remain in my prayers. Well, take good care.
Sherri
Hi Sandy,
We missed you. Glad to see you back.
What blessings friends are. Whether they help us out when we really
need a hand, or just spend time with us doing nothing--as a recent
message said--friends are truly a gift from God. I thank the Lord for
friends.
Enjoy your day.
Sherri
I'm still around but if my computer has anything to say or do with I
wouldn't be. There are times that I'd like to take a hammer to the
darned thing. Somehow while we at Mike's alumni weekend a virus got
in. Mike got that hopefully fixed but now it is overheating and
shuts off at will.
CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 quart milk
1 Tbs. butter, softened
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
2/3 cups sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Fat free Half and Half
Combine bread crumbs and milk in a large bowl and allow to sit for about 30
minutes.
UNDO A COOKING BLOOPER
Added to much sugar to that glaze or sauce? Add a teaspoon of apple cider
vinegar to eliminate some of the sweetness.
A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up
an entire lifetime. Thanks for the bright lights of your friendship.
LOL.
