more about how wav1 and wav2 difer? (Theoretically, they could be

I too am frustrated with how the software catalogues compilations. All
of the proposed solutions above fail for me. I have run tests with only
three albums in the database:
1. A solo album for which artist = albumartist =
artistsort = trackartist = Brickman, Jim;
2. A compilati

choices. But it occurred to me that it might be possible to populate
the Mood field and have slimserver treat the Mood field as if it was
the genre field. Is that possible?

included in the mp3 files? I do not see it in mp3tag or dbpoweramp.
I have also done test converstions of flac to mp3 using dbpoweramp, and
that conversion does preserve all my tags (replaygain tags + other
custom tags). They are apparently "APE" tags.

(2) How does SS know to divide up the 12 songs that have the album tag
Brandenburg Concerto 3 into the groupings corresponding to the
conductor? Did SS make that inference based on the folder structure?

accuracy was 100 percent for 90 percent of tracks, and above 99.7
percent in all other cases.

(composer and artist tags are the same, but formatted differently).
Sounds like I might not be able to get what I want with flac tags.

assume compilation must be 1 for this setting to
matter. And the other setting for compilation albums (group together
or lsit by artist) is ambiguous in this case, as I want it to list by
albumartist.)
