DMSO has a strong affinity for water. Heat is produced when it contacts water. It will feel warm when placed on wet skin, such as right after a shower. Always make sure that it's diluted to about 70%, else it will be drying to the skin. Uncomfortable but not dangerous, it's a comfort thing. CS
