From what I have read about Far Infrared that you get more Far infrared output when the temperatuer of the emmiter is lower. the higher the temp the more the output gose out of the far infrared range. so the lower wattage elemonts are better to use, if you need more heat jsut use more of them.

Hi Marshall, Yes you need that much I use 4 of the 150 watt ones and it is jsut enough. the distance you are away from them has a lot to do with it. if you are right up near them they get very warm but when they are 2 feet away they are very pleasant and comfertable for long periods of time.

Hi Carol, Well the main reasons I do it is that it helps loose weight (not that I am much over weight) and I read it is also like doing excercise. So many minutes of FIR exposure is equivalent to some many minutes of excercise. I dont have any health problems I am aware of that I am treatnig.
