hi,
I have an attached ancient jscript I've written in 2012 which could import
a rz2 file and created nulls per tracking point.
no idea if it still works.. since I can't test it anymore...
but if 3DE can export a .rz2 file it might work for you?
rz2 format is originally from Matchmover and is

Hi,
last year on one project we actually used Redshift proxies to get the data
across.
I don't have the project in front of me (as it is already archived...) but
I basically did a simple ( Redshift ) shading setup in Houdini on the
objects I needed. then written out Redshift proxies.

great to hear mGear is still in development.
used Gear on SI quite a bit :-)
great stuff!
...and since forced move to maya still on the lookout for a good rigging
solution
.. and for long run houdini hopefully.. ;-)

actually two scripts. one creates polymeshes, the other a nurbs surfaces.

hope that helps.

well, yeah, that's unfortunatly how it is... curves in groups in ICE are

there's a nice compound from Dan Yargici on rray.exe (Create Strands from
Curves) where here basically rebuilds the curves in a group either as

Hi,
thanks for all the effort Alastair!!
here are mine

Some time ago (around XSI 7.5 or so) I logged all the settings I did and
saved them out as a script.
Now when I have a fresh install, I just run that script.
(the script obviously got some lines added over time and Soft
