Some one else noted this, but having both ID3v1 and v2 can be a problem
if for some reason they get out of sync. LMS will read v1 first (if it
is there) but most taggers might only show v2 unless v2 is removed.
I've had to really dig in at times.
A problem I've also had is capitalization.
These are a relatively common issue and perhaps some of the hardest to
fix.
1. It seems that changing the tags fixes things? Does changing them
back then make them wrong again?
2. Sort Tags... I'm not sure if you use them or not, but if a sort tag
for an artist/composer/etc. appears anywhere

First step will be to force the complete rescan. I've been in a slow
process of reripping CD's to FLAC and partaking in a similar process to
replace files in the library. LMS struggles a bit with replacing files
in this way as there are almost always slight differences in the file
information

To the original question and streaming service, I honestly think it is
going to depend on the audio equipment you are listening on. You just
might have to try it out to see what sounds best.
I tried Tidal once, and it did not sound better than the Spotify stream

in my case, I actually worked around a lot of similar (not necessarily

Specifically, I used Custom Browse to create a menu item limited to the

To the original question:
You can have multiple sort fields just as you can have multiple artist

I have had similar issues on extremely rare occasions over the years.
In all cases, it has generally been because of a special character,
especially when they are in the folder name.
But, they can also occur if the special characters are in the tags, and

I would think MusicBee might have options available. I use MediaMonkey,
and I can sync playlists to my phone, and based on the sync settings, it
converts the files to MP3 and updates the M3U file that goes over
appropriately (presumably creates a new M3U file). This would be similar

I would second the suggestion for using the CUstom Scan/Browse plugins.
What I've done is create a custom tag (all my files are FLAC, so this
may not work for other file formats) that essentially creates a DATE tag
(or Rlease Date) and have that be the full date in -MM-DD format. I
use

Without the compilation tag, LMS will try to interpret whether the album
is a compilation or not. If there is a compilation tag, then it will
see what the tag is set to (not just that it's there). This has been my
experience using FLAC files. Note that with mp3 files, my results were

In terms of tackling your whole collection, one of the ways I quickly
assess my tags is actually using MediaMonkey, which is my main file
manager for audio.
In Media Monkey, I've used a plug-in called "MagicNodes" to create some
queries and menu items by various tags. It has a simple user
I probably shouldn't jump in as I can't even imagine having to go
through the effort for 90,000 tracks (I have 25,000 tracks and that gets
to be a handful with similar efforts).
But a couple of things I note. MP3Tag on its main windows doesn't show
all the tags that are there. If you click on
I login in through Facebook with a premium account.
You have to know your special username and password. You have to go
through Spotify's web pages to get the username and password, which you
can then use in LMS in its Spotify settings.
On Spotify:
1. Log into your account (using Facebook)
2.
I take it you would like it to pick up where you left off?
I'm not sure that is possible, but it might be. I know that when you
just turn a player off, the next time you hit play it will start from
where it last was (or the beginning of the current track). I would
think there might be a way
