On my system, deleting messages from the common junk
folder are moved into common trash folder. Are you using folder-specific
deletion
settings on the junk folder, that might explain that behavior?

There is a change in hints-behaviour: Background and corresponding text do no
longer
appear at the same time, instead the text of the previous hint is displayed
for a moment and afterwards the correct text appears.
