I apologise for bringing this up again as I guess it must get
covered frequently. Could someone please run through the necessary
files and steps I need to safeguard so I can restore my saved emails

I agree. I don't mind ME which I'm running on this machine, but
unless you are needing to do a reinstallation of 98 for some reason I
don't see any gain
NA In any case, you can simply save your C:\Program Files\The Bat Folder as
NA is, or use the Tools\Backup feature of TB!.
I do not believe this is correct as the registry settings will not be
saved. You can export the registry settings for the bat.

My problem with it is the lack of automation and this is why I don't
use TB!'s backup facility. I don't think of backing up but it just
happens. My active accounts and registry key are backed up every
morning at 4am and my archive account backed up weekly by using the
system
