Our application is full of various selects to get data to parse to
display in a window of our character-based interface. We mostly use a
standard subroutine that does this, but a couple of our programs don't.
We've been doing this for about the last 20 years.

going to save the entire 2Gb file? So, your entire database will most
likely be saved each time the incremental backup is run.

connection and all works fine.
So, it appears a UO connection won't release a lock under whatever
circumstances I've happened to stumble upon. Any ideas what causes this
and how to work-around the problem?

Did you ever resolve this? I think nothing seems to change during a
UniObjects connection. When I recompile a subroutine while developing
in DesignBais, I have to restart the UO connection for the account I'm
on because I use AccuTerm's WED editor. Maybe this is kind of issue
