aim is to use SQL and not LDAP.

Just guessing but its a little odd that both errors occurred on 1st
November, is it something that is only becoming noticeable on first day
of month ?

You can simply get the nightly RPM of sope49-gdl1-mysql, install it
and restart SOGo:
