I think his works but it is slower than he expected. I have KNFB
Reader on my 5S and it totally amazes me with its speed. I have used
Kurzweil 1000 for many years and love it but it is extremely slow
compared to the KNFB Reader.

years and I don't believe Kurzweil Educational Systems had anything to
do with the development of the KNFB Reader. NFB provided significant
funding for the original Kurzweil machine back in the 1970s. We have

I think he sounds quite bad actually. At slow speed it’s OK, but personally I
don’t like it and find the original female high quality voice much clearer.
