I would like to use the YiKaiEn iReader SDHC SDXC Micro SD OTG Card Reader with my ipad mini 4. I’m using the otterbox case and because of this I can’t currently do this. I need a Lightning Extension Cable to do this? -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone

If you have volume buttons set to not change the volume, you'll need to adjust each volume individually. If volume buttons do change the volume you're adjusting the media volume if voice over is speaking or if something is playing through the phone. If nothing is coming through the speaker,

This is the one part of the iPhone that you might not care for. The ringer is controlled by the ringer volume, however the rest of notifications are controlled by the media volume. So basically you'll need to adjust your media volume where you would like the rest of your notifications to be.

You want to go into settings, general, accessibility, VoiceOver, Typing feedback. There are 'two sections, Software keyboards and hardware. My guess is the Software keyboard is set to none. You want, at least characters selected. The hardware keyboard is for external keyboards, bluetooth, etc.
