solutions:
1/ delete the title form the print stylesheet.
2/ give both stylesheets the same title
(And IE doesn't support the title attribute for stylesheets).

It is valid for text/html (aka tagsoup). If you serve the document as
application/xhtml+xml, then the browser should ignore named entities
except the 5 ones (quot, amp, lt, gt and apos).

nightly builds of Firefox on OS X.
Do you know if there is any bug filed for this in Bugzilla ?

Like: if it fixes inside the bounding box for the image. If the text is
too long, (ie a long long alt text) on a 20px by 20px image, the alt
text is not displayed.
Not Good.
When the alt text is displayed, it takes size and font-style from the
context.

border-property, is another fix that has been mentioned on CSS-D once.
As I said, I don't see the problem at all on my nightly build at
various zoom levels. Lots of work has gone in some of those rendering
issues (rounding errors).

what you probably want is setting some height in em/px/km/
then your overflow:hidden will have some effect.
If I'm wrong, please provide a test case (url).
