OBIEE senior architect Requirements:
 
- 10+ years of IT experience with more than 6 yrs of business
intelligence/OLAP/CPM/reporting experience. 
 
- Must be proficient with OBIEE (or Siebel analytics), OBIEE+, BI Publisher
and Smartview.
 
- Experience with Hyperion essbase and Hyperion financial management is a
definite plus.
 
- The candidate will be required to architect the BI platform, analyze pros
and cons of the various architecture decisions and make/implement the BI
commendation.

Position Description:
 
Work with Application Developers to ensure the new applications implemented
on the enterprise network perform within expectations and do not negatively
affect the performance of existing applications. Design and monitor
application performance tests, analyze performance test data, make
recommendations on application design and hardware resource needs.

partners.

Additional Information:
 
Intermediate Implementation Specialist performs physical installation and

Insures compliance with existing regulatory requirements concerning the
installation of KPIT equipment located in medical environments. Oversees and

Position Description:

Role:*Solely responsible for supporting the Business Objects reporting
solution including reports creation/modification universe
creation/customization security scheduled reports user support etc.

Oracle ERP modules in scope are: Accounts Payables Accounts Receivables
General Ledger Purchasing Human Resource and Payroll.

**Experience:

 *Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in Business Objects XI R2
and significant experience working in previous versions of Business Objects
such as versions 5.x 6.x. Candidates should also have some experience using
Oracle RDBMS as a database for Business Objects solutions and an
understanding of data models of Oracle ERP modules (Accounts Payables
Accounts Receivables General Ledger Purchasing Human Resource Payroll) would
be a plus.

job details are given below. 

 

 

Position:  Oracle Developer

Location: Fremont CA.

Duration: 6 Months

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 8 years experience with data warehousing

- At least 2 years experience with Oracle Analytics version 7.9.4 and moving
to version 7.9.5.

- At least one implementation of OBI Apps Fin Analytics

- Experience with OM or Supply Chain BI App modules

- Experience with Oracle EBS; especially Financials to the sub ledger,
Purchasing and inventory.

Responsible for:

- Configuration options

- GL to subledger reconciliation during ETL load

- conforming COA segment hierarchies across GL and subledgers; must support
drill from GL to sub ledgers

- extending use of primary COA hierarchies / stars to work with alternate
hierarchies, e.g. alternate account hierarchy

The initial engagement will be 8 weeks to configure and load the vanilla
version of Financial Analytics.

Depending on how well this goes, their could be extensions for
customizations (e.g. loading DFFs (Descriptive Flex Fields)).

As well as installing other modules.

Supply Chain and Purchasing are also on the road map for this year.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a hands
on.

The ideal candidate will have:

The Department of Public Instruction is seeking a short term (approx. 6
month maximum) contractor to assist in an effort to replace four mainframe
legacy systems with applications being developed utilizing newer technology.

These four applications are data collections from two primary data sources
and require data hygiene rules to be applied prior to commitment of the data
to the core data structure.

Once committed, there are business rules applied at the time of report
generation which may be weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. The
technology being used is Oracle Application Express (APEX) rapid web
application development tool for the Oracle database.

 Responsibilites include:

? Review Functional and Technical requirements for clarity

? Assist with the Application design and analysis as well as provide input
to the Database design

? Assist with the Integration design for data exchange, import and export

? Business Rule identification and validation

? Oracle APEX Application development, code documentation and unit testing

? Report creation and validation

 Required:

? Experience in Oracle Apex 2.0 or higher at the Intermediate to Advanced
skill level. Currently we are using Oracle Apex 3.1.

? Minimum(3) years experience in Oracle 10g and Oracle ETL.Currently we are
using Oracle 11g database.

? Ability to code from a Technical (Detail) Design and user?s change
requests

Description:

Acts in a high-level technical role as a designer for major computer
applications utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology,
tools, and existing designs.

Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data
requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.

Designs platforms, writes code, and develops tests.

Leads multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis.

Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program
