If you cannot furnish a testcase to reproduce the problem, nobody will be able to solve your problem. But i repeat if you position your preference to send only in html - and if you at least put an html stuff into your mail(per exemple, use an automatic signature in html format) ... SM WILL NOT convert your message in plain text. So you don't care about a possible bad conversion.
