What I was trying to point out was that while the Ubuntu flavor of
Linux Mint may be widespread and considered a "major distribution",
LMDE is a different animal with hardly any track record and probably
with a "smallish" user base. It was first released little more than a
year ago and to me it seems more aimed at those who like to run the
latest stuff (a bit like running nightly builds of SBS) rather than
those who like to play it safe.
