hmm .. perhaps I was mistaken. I seem to recall that when I first
startded using gmane (was it for Debian User, don't recall), if I were
not subscribed to the list, my message posted from gmane would not
appear on the list.

Anyhow, thanks for the correction.

Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding
newsgroup on gmane.org. Replies sent to my email address are just
filtered to a folder in my mailbox and get periodically deleted without
ever having been read.
