Hello

I know it can be exciting when you discover a new spiritual path, and you could
just feel like sharing it with the world without forcing it on anyone. However,
the safe bet with Zen is to keep it on the quiet side, unless you're with
like-minded people. When you go through works like...

- ZEN MIND BEGINNERS MIND
- NOT ALWAYS SO
- QUESTIONS TO A ZEN MASTER, etc

..you'll find that putting Zen into words for the benefit of your dualistic
audience is almost an exercise in futility. With what you know of Zen...the
more you try to explain, the more they are confused...and against you if
they're from any of the Big 3 Faiths of the Middle East

Buddha be praised

Did any of you get these same reactions from the people you knew when you were
first learning about buddhism?
