Hi Pete,
Can't do it.
The CDA extension is just a pointer on the disk to the file.
.CDA files are not playable by audio applications, as you would .wav,

So why would you want to convert files before you burn them anywaywhen it is
part of the audio creation process?

And of course, Nero seems to picky about what burners it will work with.

Hi Teri,
The 5x versions of GoldWave were written for Win2000, and WinXP,
however, they will work on Win98SE.
The author of the program is just stating, that using it with Win98SE, is
not supported.
I'm currently running both5.04, and 5.08, on a Win98SE machine with no
problems.

Hi Fred,
Disk spanning is basically where all data won't fit on one disk it is
continued onto another disk.
I know that for example, some movies come on more than one disk.
And I use Nero for my disk burning operations, and it does support disk
spanning.

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the list.
In answer to your question, yes.
Simply open the file with GoldWave, then, from the file menu,
select, save as, and choose mp3 from the list.
That will do it.
If you need more info, just let us know.
