A kit lens is available for a small additional fee -- the
variable-aperture A 35-70 zoom (very small for a zoom, and it's a
one-touch zoom, not two rings, EX+ condition). $175 for the kit with
this zoom included.

Lithium AA's if manual doesn't specify?
I've picked up a small digital point-and-shoot (not Pentax), and it
takes AA batteries. The manual mentions using alkalines and
recommends NiMH rechargeable AA batteries, but says not a word
about using lithium AA batteries
options and country destination.

KEH has two PZ-1/PZ-1p grip straps available and listed at quite
reasonable prices.
The interesting thing is, they're described as having a few dead pixels.
Anyone know how to fix dead pixels in a grip strap? ;-)

Because of the ED element, yes, I think I've read that from a few
people, the F 70-210 had an edge over the A (but not by much).

Or we are about to see some new lenses coming. Who knows?

Is it the 35mm f/3.5 or the 28mm f/3.5? The photo looks like it shows
the 35/3.5 lens.

I think the lens cap must have come from another lens at some point
because it has a couple of scrapes, whereas
How does it do with flare as compared to the Pentaxes?
