That's my cue.

FS: good used B&B Tri-Flo for E36 M3

Prefer not to ship (Detroit area), but anything is possible.

Ryan,

Your E30 probably has an R12 system so you may want to consider one of the
alternative refrigerants that has been mentioned rather than converting to
R134a. Supposedly R134a shortens the life of compressors designed for R12. If
you decide to go the conversion route Interdynamics (and I'm sure others have
conversion kits available. Basically it involves an adapter that goes onto the
low-pressure A/C port, a tap/hose/quick-connect and a can of R134a. That's it.
You just put the adapter on the port, attach the quick-connect to it, and tap
the can. I like the pre-mixed R134a with oil, seal conditioner, and dye. I'd
also recommend getting a tap with a pressure gauge - You just connect it to the
port and it shows whether the pressure is too high, too low, or in the correct
range. Easy DIY job.
One other thing: if the system still has any R12 left in it you should have it
evacuated by a shop with the proper equipment. It's nasty stuff that should
not be released into the atmosphere - part of the reason it was phased out.

How do you do this on an E30 (ETA)? I suspect that this is the problem
with my AC, but am still unsure. If it turns out to be the problem I
would like to fix it myself.
Thanks,
Ryan-

If the *inside* of the muffler is contacting the rear tire you've got bigger

Try explaining _that_ at your annual inspection.

"No, the emissions are very low - in fact, it's just the same emissions over

you've got it set to "contiguous timestream" mode. Try it again."

Could that be why my CE light went out a few weeks ago and hasn't come
back on again, coinciding with the installation of the new tire that is
now rubbing? An explanation, possibly, at last?

no, it's someone stealing pics of someone else's car and trying to
pull a scam or whatever.

IIRC the person who owns the car is on the E34 M5 yahoo group,
I'll forward it over there.

confirmation from the actual owner of the car from the
E34 M5 list is below. the car isn't for sale.

The added component of this thievery was that the red light camera
manufacturer/service provider was that they got a cut of the revenue
generation. C&D had this topic in one of its columns a couple of years ago.
It's hard to believe that citizens had to sue to turn this crap around.
