Hello Carlotte, My 'investment' in this breed has been almost 20 YEARS of involvement with this breed and the clubs that have been formed to protect and advance the best interests of the Cavalier. Monetary considerations have never been taken into account! I, too, live with the results of the litters I have chosen to produce. The 'sport' of showing purebred dogs is a reality in all clubs and in all venues. When you have the same 'investment' in the breed then I will agree that you have the same say in the direction of the breed.
