I'm going on some long treks this summer and I want to take three lenses and
two camera bodies. I have an 300mm f/2.8 , 100mm macro, and 28-70mm f/2.8
lenses. I also want to take my D30 plus EOS1v. Add lots of film, a flash
bracket, a tripod w/ Arca Swiss B2 ball head, and a flash. Fully packed into
a LowePro SuperTrecker, the pack weighs 50lbs!!
That is without the gallons of water that I will need to quench my thirst
caused by carrying so much.
As I got it all packed up tonight for my first walk tomorrow, I wonder how
it will be possible to carry everything. Anyone have any experience with
such treks with 2 bodies and 3 lenses?
I can't see leaving anything with wild life needed the 300mm, wild flowers
requiring the macro and landscapes that necessitate a wide angle
